OOOOHHH!!! The Abhorsen trilogy!! How could I have forgotten that?? I've only read part one, though, but two is sitting on the shelf waiting to be read.... It is weird, but awesome!! It's about a girl named Sabriel who is the daughter of the Mage Abhorsen, someone who can control evil dead spirits... Her father goes missing and she has to take over his work.. It is scary, frightening, funny and everything else that I forgot to mention... ;D

Thanks for the answer. Yeah, there isn't that much, but I don't like swearing at all. I guess I'll just figure out how badly I want to read the series! Suit yourself. I dont think you would be okay hanging around me then *laughs* but I'm a good person on the boards and say nothing "bad" ;D Er...yeah I would read So Long And Thanks For all The Fish then......

Was that last line a suggestion for me to read? I can't remember, is that one of the books in the series, because it sounds like it could be?

In English of course (okay, that is not of course, I'm Dutch, but read on, I'll explain)
I haven't bought a Dutch book in ages! I don't like translations (and what do I think is a nice profession? Yes, translating books.... go figure...) so I bought the English version.

A nice profession in general, for yourself, or for a guy you would like?

To bring this back on topic, have any of you read The Troll King, Troll Queen, or Troll Treasure. It has another type of faeries in it (i should post this on the faery thread too). It's kinda childish, but amusing nonetheless.

I like Trolls...I have a Troll house, but too many Trolls were living in it, so the Troll child services came and took away the Troll family children

its a good series. it has trolls, ogres, a scorcer, faeries, elves (non-LOTR, the little short ones), and gnomes and other races to that sort.
