i said water nymphs. there are four kinds, centaur, mermaid, faun, and satyr. At least in greek mythology. Don't argue, my teacher knows a lot about this, and that's what he says. Yes, but I wasnt talking about Nymphs from Greek mythology was I? Ehhhh ! Ever read The Little Witch? Its soooooo cute! Its a childrens story written in the *thinks* 60s...maybe 50s...I dont know, but it has a nymph in it...

Ah, I see.
Uhh..nooooo. Its nothing like Harry Potter...at all. Its very short, 90pages maybe. Its about this little girl who is a witch (or at least she has been told my her mother who is a witch, that she is a witch), but she is really nice and isnt into the "bat wing, newt eye, playing tricks on people" kind of thing.Anyways at the end of the book you find out that she is really a nymph and that the witch stole her form her mother when she was a baby. But yeah....

[glow=white,9,900] I don't like all the naked statuary either, but some of them are so beautifully sculpted that you can't help but stand in awe. One of my favorites in Michelangelo's David. It's like, 29 feet tall! And he just went at it with a chisel, no particular plan whatsoever, and now we have this life-like incredible statue. One painting that I like is Bosh's "Garden of Earthly Delights" it's really weird though. It's one of those that's not too clean, but totally strange. There are a couple others I really like. If I ever get a chance, I'm going to go to Italy and Greece, just to see all the architecture.[/glow] I've been to a Michelangelo's museum(several times, actually) in CA. It has a replica(or is it the original?) of the David one and the one with Moses having horns. Lots of paintings on the ceilings and a replica of the cell he stayed in for however many years. Drawings were all over the walls and sculptures were everywhere!. I have rulers with pictures on them of those things, if you want to see.

So, what? Whenever you get bored you can just pull out your ruler? *Falls over laughing* Okay...the lack of sleep thing is comming over me again!

Oh, no its still there. Elondra posted that she wen to a Michelangelo museum and saw a bunch of stuff, the she said that she got to see the David picture..or whatever (I'm soo up on my michelangelo stuff ), but right after that she said get got "a ruler with a picture of those things" and I said, jokingly (because michelangelo has a lot of paintings of naked people) "Oh, so you can just pull you ruler out when ever you get bored in class....". It wasnt even really funny, nor that wrong, it was just midnight.
