Uh...I can't remember...I'll have to re-read the syllabus...although it does seem like it's going to be a little difficult...

difficult is not that bad if it is about Harry Potter, right? Right now I'm about to murder my neighbour! He is playing his music absurdly loud...

Although it wasn't as difficult as it originally seemed, but true...difficult isn't bad when it's Harry Potter.
Strangely enough, my least fave HP character is Harry. I just don't like him...he's not even that interesting of a character...basically every other character I'm fine with, but Harry gets on my nerves...

I think Harry is too much of a 'hero' to really like him as a character. I almost always like the 'evil' ones, like Snape. Or the 'unusual ones', like Lupin. There is so much more complicated stuff going on with them.

Agreed. In my class, the professor gave us a list of typical hero story characteristics as put together by Raglan, Campbell, and one other person. Harry fit like every single aspect. Besides, he's a little whiney and self righteous.
Snape is an amazing character. Ron is pretty good. Dumbledore was my fave, you never knew what he was going to do next, lol.

My Philosophy exam consisted of only 3 questions. And 1 and 3 were definitions. We have to learn everything from Kant to Nietzsche to Plato to Rorty, and we get definitions of some stupid detail words.... That teacher just got nominated as most-annoying-teacher of the year by about everyone who had to retake the test.

Cool! Goldfish? Have you named them yet?
This was the second test, so if I didn't pass, I'll have to take it again in January.... *sigh* *keeps her fingers crossed*

I'm sure you did amazing this time!
I named one Lostariel. The others I can't tell the difference between so they remain nameless. They aren't goldfish...I'm not sure what they are. They are really really small, silver (except Lostariel, she has a spot), and they were only $0.12 each...

Wow, really expensive fish!! I'll get my marks tomorrow, at 2PM... I'm rather nervous now, because I already know I failed Spanish grammar (5 out of 20, outch).

Ouch....25%...

I passed Philosophy and the Spanish oral exam, but I failed my history exam. 25% sounds really bad, even worse than 5/20

Yeah, maybe we should keep it as a percent...
Sweet. Philosophy is confusing. I'm taking an Ethics course. Holy cow, thus far, we've like disproved ever theory about right and wrong. I'm not sure I could handle a general philosophy course, lol.

Our philosophy course was more an introductory course, with the history of Philosophy as the main part. We got bits and pieces about theories and ideas, but the comparison and evolution of trends was more important.

there is an intro to Philosophy, but I don't need that for anything.
