That sounds familiar. But maybe I'm thinking of the device "the box" in Matilda. Kinda creepy, though. I think I'd go mad if I were locked inside a box all day. I'll be my kidnapper wouldn't even give me a burrito now and then.

nope, she never even saw the kidnapper. she was left alone locked in the basement with a limited food and water supply........she also had a hole in the corner to relieve herself in. It was so boring, how exciting can life be locked in the pitch black alone? i wondered if she would ever get out, so i read the end, but no, she's still locked in the basement thingy. I quit reading it then.

Well...*sigh*...it's just that I'm a little steamed that when I tried to eat the burrito that was perched on top of your head, it tried to eat ME...and you know how I am with traumatic experiences like that. I *snort* and go raid the kitchen for...chocolate...because I've officially ended my craze for burritoes.

Let's do a little test: Would the spell checker have a problem with favourite and colour? I'll spell check it right now! Yes, it does!!! Evil spell checker! It wants me to change it into favorite and color.....

i actually learned in school why europeans spell color like colour and americans spell it like color. (it's the same reason we hold our forks differently too). Americans wanted to be different, so we dropped the 'u' off of various words (and we also flipped our forks over). This took place in early USA times...........see, it pays to pay attention in English.
