[glow=white,9,900]Ok, it's out. You know what I mean. IT! THe only IT there ever was!
Ok, so it's awesome. Wanna know what's on it?
They've added more to the Paths of the Dead, and Peter Jackson is dressed as a guy on one of the corsairs. (The ships) He gets killed with an arrow from Leggy.
The houses of healing has been put in, with some interaction between Éowyn and Faramir. (ooooooooh...)
Some battle scenes have been extended, and you get to see Éowyn hamstring "Lumpy" (My name for Gothmog, the King Nazgûl's right hand guy). Then you get to see Lumpy get it.
You get to see Sauruman and Grima get it too.
Umm, the Mouth Of Sauron has been put in, and he's pretty ugly. But he's more humerous than ugly. He's got these ridiculously long teeth that make him look comical. He comes out and says, "Sauron bids you welcome." Then he cocks his head to one side and smiles this fiendishly ridiculous smile. Oh my gosh, I almost died laughing.
The drinking contest between Gimli and Leggy is put in. You'll have to see it, it's too funny. I can't tell you about it, it will ruin it. Go watch it to see who wins.
Éowyn falls asleep after the party. And Aragorn wakes up and walks around. It's cold, so he covers her with a blanket, and she tells him about this bad dream that she had. Something about a wave.
Gandalf encounters the "Witch King" Ringwraith.
There is a very touching scene, when Éowyn has killed the nazgûl and she has collapsed on the battle field. Éomer screams "NOOOOOO!!!!" and runs over to her. He cradles Éowyn in his arm and rocks back in forth saying no, over and over again. Aragorn stops and looks, he weeps, the once proud maiden has fallen. Gandalf turns and looks, and he's got such a look of grief in his eyes.
But ok, aside from the major scenes, there have been some minute lines added in. Extra dialog that explains things a little bit more.
The extra stuff is amazing too. Did you know that the wmbroidery on arwens red and black "death dress" is hand embroidered? All the armor used in the movie is REAL metal. Grond has lead sheets attatched to him. And it goes through the comceptual designing of costumes, sets, miniatures, all kinds of cool stuff. I am not finished with the first DVD of added stuff yet, but I will certainly update you on this if needed. Oh, and there's also a interview clip with Ian McKellan and he's wearing a rainbor shirt...
Well, See ya'll later. Lady Éowyn [/glow]
