[glow=white,2,300]I'm not sure of the exact definition of Anglo-Saxon (aside from the runes). Look it up online if you have time (because I don't) and post the definition here. But the Rohirrim inLotR are pretty close to Anglo-Saxon. A combination if it and a couple of other things.[/glow]

Way, way back, when the Romans inhabited what is now the UK, they decided to leave and go back to Rome. England was then left to the Woads (See King Arthur). But then some germanic tribes (the Angles, The Saxons and the Jutes) invaded Britain. The Angles and the Saxons stayed, and mingled with eachother and the local people. They are the forefathers of today's Brits.
Just take a look at the movie King Arthur and you see all kinds of Saxons.
