It's great to have fabrics that are light-weight, but they still have to be durable. Micro-Suede has a nice look to it, but it may not be durable enough for everyday use, or for events. The costume will be hot, no matter what you do. But if it has to be hot, it can at least be strong, and look nice. ;D ;D

Just keep in mind that when choosing your fabrics some fabrics can hinder your Elven appearance. Especially whatever fabric they use to make those medieaval and Disney Princess costumes, it looks like plastic.
