Hey I know everyone has been, is going, hated, or loved school. I'm sure if you think about it you probably have more than one story getting dusty in the back of your brain...so here's a place you can share. It's a little off the LOTR topic but *shrug* I can only talk about LOTR for so long. Soooo I shall start the school story chain. (just a reminder keep em clean I know not all school year activitys are appropriate)
Well this year I'm trying an online college class for the 2nd time...my first experiance wasn't so great. Turns out I'm not so good at self motivation and ended up with a C in American Government. Anyways you can see I'm more than a little wary of this new one its Libral Arts Mathmatics 2, the teacher and textbook are cool (of course the teacher wrote the textbook), the class was also highly recommended by a fellow classmate. Soooo I logged on wens, which was 3 days after the starting date to find I have a quiz due that day, It was just an orientation quiz but I freaked. To take the quiz I had to take a tour of the site and have an online class orientation. Lets just say it was long and some of the technical mumbo jumbo had me hyperventalating, literally. I was in tears begging my mom to let me withdraw in shame...she said yes. So confident I wouldn't have to take the mind boggling web course I tried it out anyways, I mean hey it wouldn't hurt anything considering I would be out by morning...but...I started to get the hang of it I cought myself up and right when I got stuck on the computer tech nightmare, my dad the computer wiz showed up and fixed everything (*sigh* my hero). I kinda started liking the class much to my chagrin and proclaimed my changed mind to my much releived mother.
well thats one of my most resent schools storys, hope it didn't bore you to tears. Sorry about the spelling my other personality is good at that part and we're not on speaking terms right now (jk).

Hmm . . . well I have a lot of stories from the past four years i lived here(where I live, not on this board ) One was from the first year. We had a lot of kids in our co-op, including flight's sister. We did cake decorating, writing and other things. Well, one boy was very stupi . . . i mean adventurous and stuck his hand down a snake hole . . . only to get bit! He did a lot of stuff like that, but is still alive today. Another one from that class is where my sis went into the girl's bathroom and there was a huge spider! (i mean big!) anyway, no one would believe her as to it being soo big, so everyone, including the boys went in. My Creative Writing teacher freaked out! One of the boys sprayed the spider with lysol of something then tossed it in the toilet! It was so funny! Well . . . I guess those weren't exactly about school, but about experiences revolving around it. I've got more, but that's for later! Au revior

Not funny, not funny at all. More of an ironic story. You see I'm dual enrolled at a local college and I was taking Intermediate Algebra. Anyways, our teacher (a totally awesome teacher btw, I actually had fun in MATH!!!) told us we could exempt from the final if we had an A after our last test. Well, as I'm sure you've guessed by now I missed the mark. The worst part is that I missed it by 1.4 points!!! Can you believe that?

I think I was watching that conversation. And was in the class when Marille got that grade. In case you were wondering, we're both homeschooled and dual enrolled in college classes. So far we've been successful in getting the same classes, hopefully we won't get split up.

Let's see...interesting stories at my school...hmm... one time in theatre we were playing "baby if you love me" (fun game) and one girl licked another student....very funny...we were the only class who could touch each other in the game (or ever had a no licking rule)
this one for you flight, my english teacher murders my papers (mostly for tense but including spelling)
(PS in your first post, flight, you spelled stories wrong other than that i didn't notice any errors.)

Hmmm. school...Its okay, I have some "unique" stories, but I dont feel like typing much right now... Just for fun, whats everybody's least favorite period? For me, it would be PE. I hate that class soooooo much! Today we had a good ol' fun time playing "Whack an Aduial [with balls]" . Eh, but what are ya going to do...*Grabs brick, and shrimp fork* (jk)

PE is terrible hate that and the teacher.
this is going by class, not teacher (on some: AP History (really cool teacher though) Spanish (one of my fav. teahers) Theatre (this one because of the teacher) Honors Biology (ok teacher) Algebra II (cool, fair teacher)
A borderline one is English, but that is because the teacher makes the class so much fun.
No opinion about health, except BORING.
I love Seminary (LDS release time) teacher and class.

Of all my classes I'd have to dsilike Algebra II the most because, even though I'm good at it, I think I'm not and I learn math differently then anybody I know, so that means disaster time!

Algebra II is easy, what I mess up on is adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division. seriously on a test i put 25/5=3.
