yeah, it's just sharing what you feel strongly about. We even had a few people who were non-LDS there this year. I don't know who they were, but I think they felt the spirit of the meeting.
Do you have any plans for the summer?

I will be going to Paris next week (for 4 days), and then it's finding a job and making money. I'll also be on the look out for student lodgings in what will become my new home city...
Maybe I'll go to an amusement park, or the beach, but I'll have to find someone to go with me and transport, because I won't be able to take the train for free anymore...

exciting....I found a job here easily...at a research place (telephone serveys) you hand them the application and then they look at your name (so they can address you by name) and say to come into training in a few days. one kid asked for an application right before training started, so they just sent him in to be trained before he even applied, lol.

haha, I can just picture it: 'Hello I would like to-' 'Walk through that door please, training starts in 5 minutes.'
So what do you have to do? Call people?

Basically that's what happened to that guy.
yeah. Either hand dial it or use an autodialer (I prefer handdialing, then I can hear the ringing and not just silence before they answer). Sometimes you ask for a specific person and sometimes you ask for a general person (have you called_______, has someone in your house called _______. May I speak with him/her?) or just whoever answers the phone. Then you go through a survey. Depending on the survey, some take a few minutes (unless the person goes on about heaven knows what) and I've heard of a few that are over a half an hour. You talk to some normal people, some people that don't understand what you are talking about, and some...unique people.
I hate having to ask for a certain person. Especially if they are all Spanish names...there were a few french ones in there....the entire night last night was spanish people....one guy is like I dont understand...I asked if I would like someone to call him later in spanish and he told me no, that he would like it in french....I said, ok have a nice evening....

Do you also get angry people? Because that is the main reason I don't want to work at a call centre, because people (here) often get rather agressive...

yeah, sometimes. It all depends on who you call. Some people freaked out on me, and some were fine with taking the survey....although as of now, I've only worked two nights...It's not that bad...a little boring, but not bad....it beats fast food restraunts....and I don't qualify to work at walmart.....seriously I don't....

why not? I know I won't get a job at a supermarket anymore, but that's just because I'm too 'old'. They only want 16-year-olds, they're cheaper...

lol....when I applied, there are like a million questions about what i'd do in diff situations, it told me I did not qualify. It might be because my bro works there, but i don't know.

I finished the text, send it to the teacher and 2 hours later I received an email: "Your work has been graded. Check your school account for your grade." I got an 8 out of 10!! Whoohoo!! Now my average for that subject is an 8.4. I am happy! Especially when the class-average of the second test was a 6.1
