Is it worth the same amount all over Europe?

Well, in theory, if I get €20 from an ATM in Paris, €20 will be taken from my account in NL. But some things are waaaaay cheaper in some countries than others. For example cigarettes. Practically all of the Germans who smoke and live within 100 km from the Dutch border get their ciggies here. But it is the other way around for filling up the gastank of your car. And when I was in Barcelona I was shocked by the prices of alcoholic beverages, but food on the other hand was cheaper than in my town.
tsk. Last night I thought 'OOH, I have to ask Erutanie...' but I can't remember what I wanted to ask. I think it had to do something with school, but I'm not sure.

hmm.....don't know. You did ask me a question in another thread about grades.
Things are differently priced even in a single state. Upstate, gas is over 10 cents a gallon cheaper. My state is like way over the national average for gas. Kinda funny, last time gas prices got so high, as soon as it was being closely examined and questioned, gas prices dropped, a lot. So I think the price difference is just supply and demand sort of thing. If everything was cheaper in a certain country, then yeah, I'd say inflation played a part.
