[glow=white,9,900]Hello to all you Newcomers! This site is for LotR lovers, not just for Elf lovers. It is a clean and safe site, so you won't have to worry about seeing anything bad here. You can introduce yourself here, on the Newbies Board. Tell us how you found the site, why you like LotR, have you read the books, and one (at least) interesting fact about yourself. You can include your age and country if you want. I am going to see who can invite the most people, so if someone invited you, post their screen name here. We will modify this post as often as needed, so that you can read and know all you need to know about this site, without having to go through 50 posts. lol!

The rules for my forum are:
1. No profanity, flaming, rudeness, name-calling, or general harassing allowed. Be polite. Please keep in mind that children may veiw this site. Failure to comply to this rule will result in a warning, and eventual banning.
2. Please keep all opinions on homosexuality to yourself. While I have my own opinions on this subject, this forum is not the place to discuss whether being gay is right or wrong. Failure to comply to this rule will result in a warning, and eventual banning.
3. These rules apply to avatars as well. If find an avatar that breaks these rules you will be warned, if you don't comply you will be banned.
4. Please try to keep topics in their proper forums. And make sure your new thread hasn't been posted before. If you fail to follow this rule I will redirect your post.
5. The Character Discussions board (which is a brilliant idea, not my own of course) is where you can devote whole threads to how hot Legolas is. But try to keep these comments to a minimum on other boards.
6. If you are being harassed by any of the members, please PM me.
7. Until the end of this year I am going to have to ask that anything discussing ROTK EE be marked by the word "spoiler" in the title or in the message. Just incase some people don't want to know about ROTK EE's new scenes until they see it.

About me:
I am 16, in 11th grade, and I live in Florida. I have all advanced classes and college classes. I am in Chorus and band. I love music (♪ classical, Irish, Opera, Broadway musicals etc. ♪), Literature (especially fantasy), and anything that is good, and beautiful. (Nature, animals, music, literature, all the pretty and simple stuff that make life complete.) I might be creating another forum soon, so keep checking the updates section for news. (In the General board.)
I found this site through Marillë, who is my friend, and is probably one of the friends most like me. (That's a compliment to both of us, and to "Leobeth", my other third.) And I logged on to the site, now I am an admin.
Interesting Fact: My parents were part of the SCA. ANd my father was also an English teacher for 15 years. So I am exposed to a lot of literature, and I sort of grew up with Medieval elements. My dad and his friends would get together and make armor, costumes, etc. Then they would go out and fight, do events, have reenactment. Really cool stuff. And I also have a friend named Éowyn, my dad taught a kid named Strider, and I have heard of an Arwen, an Aragorn, and I think a Faramir. (How's that for interesting. lol!)
THat's all I am going to say about me, you will learn more through other posts I make. Or you can just ask me. And if "Leobeth" (I foget her screen name on here) ever posts anything then you will have the dynamic trio here. The Three Maidens!!!! Mooooooooohahahahaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! (lol! sorry, looooong story. Can't go into it, it's confidential, no one is allowed to know our "Three Maidens Plan" until I say so. lol!)[/glow]
