Sweeeeeet. I've never been to homecoming, can you believe it? Am I missing much? why have you never been to homecoming? homecoming is more of a week rather than something you go to... hmm....it's just a spirit week where you dress up on different days...this year we had hawaiian day, superhero day, '80s day, and blue and white day. (plus the halloween themed dance). Our football team lost the homecoming game (53-14, they shocked everyone when they scored, everyone became more shocked when they scored again), they even supposedly put us up against the worst team in our region (except for my team of course).....our team is so good they haven't won thier homecoming game for 19 years. They haven't won a single game in the past two years (possiblely longer, i don't know). I'm sure you have school-related events that are just as exciting as homecoming week. It's only a one time thing. Nothing is as exciting, except homegoing week (which no one had heard of until last year's homegoing week)......

LOL--I've never been to homecoming because here in Paradise, I am educated at a very private school. My school only has two students. Namely, my sister and I.

ok, i guess this is the right place to post this. I just read a JK Rowling interview and one part really scares me. She gets talking about how her mom had MS (multiple Sclerosis). Her mom died 10 years after she was diagnosed with it. My mom was diagnosed with it three years ago. Rowling goes on to say how actively she is trying to find a cure for it. mugglenet.com/jkr/interviews/tatler.shtmlbut yeah...that just hits close to home at the possibility of losing someone to such a deadly disease.

not really soon...TODAY!!!!! yaynes....
it's not like the luna I pictured either, but then again, I sometimes picture the characters very different from the description in the book. I see the movie and say "that's not how I pictured him/her." I go home re-read the book and the movie's interpretation is closer than mine sometimes as far as looks go...except for Sirius...they got him and lupin all wrong.....

Yup, Sirius and Lupin are completely wrong: I pictured Lupin as the twin brother of my latin teacher... lol. And Sirius is way more handsome in my imagination And the first time I saw PS, I thought: What? Draco has blond hair?? I pictured him with black hair... When I re-re-re-read the book, I found out that it really says 'blond'.... I read it wrong a gazillion times.... *goofy grin*

I third the notion that Sirius and Lupin are wrong. They are (were!) my favorite characters (besides Dumblydore) and wow, how could they fumble that! Of all the audacious, ludicrous things to do! What did you think of Mad-Eye? Was he how you pictured him?

Nope, not at all... but I'm okay with the movie Moody...
I'm going to read HBP tonight! (I'll start, I don't read that fast to actually finish it in the same night ;D)
