Because there is a "thread" (proper word anyone?) on movies I think its only fair for my dear friend the tv to have its own "thread"  Just post any tv shows that you like, dislike, abhor, love *laughs* whatever....any opinions? |

Has anyone ever seen the show 'Big Kids'? It's a British show. It's so funny!
I like mystery shows like Monk, Diagnosis Murder, Murder She Wrote.
I also like Qauntum Leap.
Even Stevens and Lizzie MvGuire are usually funny, but I don't watch them that much because I don't have cable.

Never heard of 'Big Kids'...I used to watch 'Murder She Wrote' with my grandma when I was little  ...I LOOOOOVE 'Monk'! I'm a germ freak too, but not as bad a Monk...*twiches* Urrrrggguh (hehheh, that was one of my better noises) I CAN NOT STAND 'Lizzie McGuire'!!! Hilary Duff is like nails on a chalk board to me! I really like 'Will & Grace' and 'Friends', ooooooo, and I must admit I'm a total 'Buffy' (the Vampire Slayer) freak   |

I'm also a buffy-addict!!! I also watched Angel for a while, but mainly because Spike was in it... (I know, I know, I weird....and proud of it!) Currently there are no Buffy episodes broadcasted here, so I just have to wiat for them to start again.....
I really like 'Joan of Arcadia'. It's awesome!!! Lizzy McGuire is only okay when you're on a sugar-rush or something... When everything is funny....

Same here (about the Angel thing)!!!! Spike... *drool* I dont like Angel as much a Buffy though. I think Angel puts a bad name on all vampires! Lol. |

The only shows posted here I have seen are Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire.
I like to watch shows like Unsolved Mysteries and other parnormal stuff. The channel watched most at my house is probably Game Show Network (GSN) So if your curious how just about any gameshow works just ask. Though I do prefer the Dog eat dog on BBC america over the one they show on GSN.

I dont get the Game show network...is it just game shows nonstop?

Sometimes Unsolved Mysteries has ghosts, aliens, psycics (sp?), human combustion, angels, demons, etc. Mostly it is Missing Persons, escaped convicts, murders, and stuff like that. All depends on what episode you watch.
I have VH1, but a few years ago, my mom told us we couldn't watch it, but now I don't dare to.
Yeah, GSN plays gamshows almost 24/7, but from about 1:00AM-7:00AM it is those infomercials (or whatever you call them that are like 20 min. comercials)
Technically it would be 18/7, but you get the idea.

[glow=white,9,900]I don't have cable. If I did I'd be watching the history channel, sci-fi, animal planet, and disney channel nonstop. So it's probably good we don't have it.
When I do watch TV I watch:
LOST- with Dominick Monaghan. Probably one of Marillë's fave shows. Very mysterious.
Enterprise- Awesome star trek. Much better now that it's been going for a while. Right now we're entangled with the Romulans, Telorites, and Andorians. THe Romulans are using a drone ship with holographic capabilities to continue wars between the Telorites and the Andorians. The Drone is remote controlled by an operator, who turns out to be Andorian! Great show.
NUMB3RS- Has David Krumholtz in it, played Bernard in THe Santa Clause. A Mathematician (David) helps his FBI brother solve mysteries using math.
Frasier- Hilariously intellectual comedy. David Hyde Pierce is toooooo funny. lol! Silly psychiatrists. [/glow]

 No cable?! Can it be? Is it really true? Lol, jk. I dont have cable at my mom's but I have (somehow) gotten used to it. I like LOST, but I have missed the last few episodes (  ) Was Frasier a spinoff (sp) of Cheers?

I got satellite. Aduil, those are the main channels I watch. (except history channel)

Does the satellite ever make the tv get fuzzy? Like in those adds where the guy holds the rubber chicken in front of the dish?

lets see...
my all time favorite show ever is Friends...then Will and Grace, Invader Zim...King of Queens (sorta, I watch it sometimes), and I'm way into Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and American Idol right now.
I have cable but I could actually live without it since all my shows are on channels that are noncable as well
