Well, you should be doing schoolwork! And yes, I control the bell at your school! I make it ring when I want it to!
And I don't remember ever double posting on this messageboard, so please show me where I have.

You have got time at school to post here?? I haven't , they have thought up something very funny at my school, a no-breaks-schedule, due to the too-few-classrooms-problem. So now it is legal to eat and drink during classes.... (I've only got 8 hours of school devided over 3 days, so....)

I get to school between 7:45-8:00 and my school don't start until about 8:25. Lunch runs about a half an hour and I only need 15 min to eat. There is a computer lab open though. I never said you did double post. I was reminding you not to. that would suck not to have breaks erui.

Well, technically there are no breaks in the schedule, but since I have only 2 or 3 classes per day, that's not that bad. I feel sorry for the first years, though, they have got a lot more classes *evil laughter*
Plus, My earliest class starts at 9:30, on the other two days I start at 11:00...

Your school sounds like how my homeschooling works, Erui! I only do school 3 days out of the week! It rocks!

It rocks indeed!! I go to school 3 days per week, do almost nothing at home (I haven't got homework, I've got trainwork instead!) So I've got oceans of time left to do what I want!! (like becoming a ranger on tEs)

Is your school like a college or a trade school?

It is a teacher training college, with all the courses that go with it: didactics, Phonetics, grammar, linguistics etc. etc. What is homeschooling like?

What are you training to be?
As for homeschooling, for me it's nice. You get to work at your own pace, get a ahead if you have the time, start later, finish earlier. Co-Ops are fun. That's where a bunch of homeschoolers get together and one of the mom's teach something like history or sign language. I have lots of time to read, or post, or watch movies. I can stay up later and 'sleep in' til at least 7:30(that's sleeping in for a lot of people down here who go to school!). I'm on the local homeschool yearbook staff which is fun. It also is conducive to my writing schedule, so I can write more stories then people who go to school would be able to. My schedule is more flexible, but usually full because we're always going somewhere as opposed to staying in ong building to do all our work. I just like it! And also, I can get pretty good grades because the government makes us prove we're learning something, so we actually have to learn. And if I don't understand something, I can just do it again. One of the funnest parts, though, is the testing at the end of the year. That's like my goal: to finish school each year so I can go to testing for 3 days solid and hang out with other homeschoolers! I don't like tests, but it's an excuse to hang with friends.

In about 2.5 years, I will be allowed to teach English at secondary schools here in the Netherlands. But there is a 90% chance that I will go abroad (for ever/temporary) to study or work... Homeschooling sounds like it would've been perfect for me... I always wanted to do things in my own pace (usually faster than the rest)...

homeschool has a yearbook? didn't know that.
Lucky you guys. I have school Monday to Friday from 8:25- 3:03. four classes a day (8 classes total) I have hours of homework a night. With the block schedule I'm on, it don't help I put things off to the last minute.
Block schedule is 1, 3, 5, and 7 one day and 2, 4, 6, 8 the next.

In homeschool you do the homework first! That has to be the best part. As for yearbook, the county down here has one, but I don't think it's nationwide.
