Oh, I remember what I was going to say now. When I first "read" the trilogy, I made the mistake of getting the huge 1000 page trilogy edition instead of the individual books? With that hunk of a book, I only made it to page 7 of the prologue. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
But I have read it since then, and, proudly, FINISHED IT!

i skipped the prolouge. i've read've read the entire trilogy once, and i've started over. i've made it up to where sam and frodo are around the black gates in TTT
