[glow=silver,2,300]I guess I have three favorite parts, one for each book. In FOTR I loved Tom Bombadil, even though I find myself humming his stinking song ALL THE TIME. In TTT it's the competition between Legolas and Gimli in Helm's Deep (consequently that's my favorite part of the movie too), and in ROTK it's the Eowyn/Faramir story. [/glow]

I like the barrow downs, in FOTR. That would have been cool if they had done that in the movies...

I still Love the part in ROTK EE where Aragorn is with the elf and dwarf taking on a fleet of ships, I love his way of saying "This army"

I like in FOTR EE where the fellowship are leaving Rivendell, and Frodo ask Gandalf if Mordor is left or right.

Boromir
I liked that part too, and then when they bring Aragorn down.
I have a fave part for each movie. they all have to do with Leggy and G. In FOTR it's Legolas' "Oh no not the dwarf look" (I think I haven't seen it in awhile so i dont remember every detail). In TTT it's the end of the contest "He was twitching". And in ROTK it was the "My fingers are tingling" scene.

)Lol, I like the "tingling fingers" thing too, but I thought it sort of sucked that in ROTK EE they added all sorts of stuff, like Legolas drinking for the first time, which the movie could have lived with out, as funny as it was, (thats why it ended up in EE, ;D) but they Killed Sauraman when he was in the Tower, and he was only in the movie for like 5 minutes, something that they could have out in the "un-EE" version. If they had my opinion they could have cut the "Legolas vs. elephant" scene and put Sauraman in there instead . No wonder Ol' Chris was ticked! He had *every* right to be!

Yeah, if Saruman's scene was so short, they should have just kept it!

I think there was some sort of controversy over that scene or something. Something about people thinking it was Gandalf. I thought the way they had him plummet from the tower was kind of cool.

(Sorry, I had to write that!)

ROFL. Did you get that from a little movie clip thingy with boromir in it?
My favorite part was with Frodo and Sam marching with the orc army. as sad as it is i was disappointed it wasn't in the un-EE edition (theatrical)
