what you call high school, I guess. It's 8 years of primary school (age 4-12), Then 4 to 6 years of secondary school (depends on the level your taking) and then it is university/college. end of Dutch Schoolsystem 101.

lol....you have to go to 14 grades!!! well, I guess we have 13 grades (including kindergaten) and 14 for those who go to preschool...I never did go to preschool...high school is also techically called secondary school here...although I think Jr High is included in secondary school. And Jr. high starts in either 6th or 7th grade (depending). I feel smarter already ...lol...

Hehe. I could totally confuse you with the complicated system we've got for secondary school, but I decided to spare you. I mean, even the Dutch can't figure it out... I think, in total there are about 8 or 9 levels of secondary school, and all of them are subdivided into different 'streams' or 'themes' or whatever... oh boy, I started torturing you regardless of my decision...

rofl...we only got 2-3 groupings in secondary. Middle (not around here because the middle school closed down...), Jr high, and high....
