yeah, it ruins your teeth and breath! Gross! And really, it's a drug because you get addicted to it and you get the jitters when you try to stop after your addicted. That can't be good for your system!

I agree, but I know a lot of people who do, most don't, it's against the Word of Wisdom.

I'm LDS. It is a set of guidlines found in the scriptures (Doctrine and Covenants section 88-89) that tells us how we should treat our bodies. (no tabacco, alcohol, coffee, tea, etc and other things we should eat or not eat to stay healthy)

[glow=white,9,900]Wow, ya'll are confused.
First of all, caffien, though it is a drug, is not like cocaine. YOu only get sick and go into caffein withdrawel if you get addicted to it and stop suddenly, you only get addicted if you consume enormous amounts of caffein over an extended period of time. The recommended about of Caffein per day is 100 mg. I think that is either two or three cans of coke. It doesn't ruin your breath, and it only ruins your teeth if you drink tons, you can partially counteract the effect if you BRUSH your teeth and drink MILK.
The Bible says that we are to protect our bodies. Which doesn't mean that we can't have caffein, it just means that we shouldn't use it to the extent that we hurt ourselves. Just like drinking is ok, but getting drunk is not because it harms your body. (Incidentally, a little bit of alcohol is good for you.)
Coffee is really good. What can make you jittery is too much espresso. A lot of people don't like it though. (It's an acquired taste.) "It's like, coffeezilla" (Name that movie!) Usually you drink it in a little cup, and only have a tiny bit. Well, one day I made some really strong espresso, adn had about 20 ounces of in in 20 minutes. Oh my gosh was I wired. That was jittery, let me tell you! Anyone ever had chocolate covered coffee beans? We don't get them much around here, but they are REALLY good. Not as bad as you might think.
Flight, you probably thought it tasted like tar because it didn't have sugar and creamer in it. Haselnut is my favorite coffee.

I'm not confused. In my religion, it is taught not to drink coffee or tea, and possibly caffeine (it's ok in small i amounts) I am obviously a different religion here, I go from teachings from more than the Bible.

.[/glow] Thats not very nice (I know you didnt mean it to be not too nice. Everybody and religion is different) to say that she is confused to think that caffien is bad. Its just part of the Mormon religion! All of them (well the ones who follow the "rules" *pardon me, I dont know what else to call them*) follow it very..well religiously
