No, they were hard pretzels, but soft pretzels are amazing (I've only had a couple in my life, but they are good).

Geutalief is a female force. Of course it is, we two are the only ones left. We got the new schedules, and mine is stupid. On mondays, my only class is from 9 to 11 AM. That means there is no way I can make it if I come from my parents place... So I'll be skipping that one every now and then

Do the trains run on Sunday? Maybe you'll have to go home then...

Well, on Sundays, I have to pay I am a student, and anytime I can ride the trains for free, I opt for that I won't be going home every weekend, so I won't miss all the classes. But I'm going to skip the second one, because my sis and I are going to a gigantic fair. (I'm not sure that is the right word for it. It's indoors, with loads of stands on travel & living, food, clothing; fashion shows, workshops etc.)

It's a fair, but I'm glad you went on to describe it since there are many different fairs it could be.
Understand the wanting things for free. My college gave us free Traxx (train thing they have here) and bus passes. I've only used it a couple times. Much more convenient to drive. I'm so lucky to have a car.

The Netherlands have an amazing amount of train tracks for such a small country. Apart from the top north, you can get almost anywhere by train.

Utah has amazingly little in the form of public transportation.

Yesterday I bought a bag of crisps, bolognese flavour, but it turns out Belgians have a different idea of what that flavour should taste like than the Dutch... I like the Dutch version better. (These just tasted like paprika)

I don't think we have that flavor. (Crisps and potato chips are the same thing aren't they?)

Yes. Crisps are the Bristish version of your chips, and chips are your fries. Ooh, now I want some fries....

uhoh. Are you feeling ill? Wait, what time was it at the time of your post? Maybe your stomach just wasn't in fries-mood.

8:56 am. It was a bit early for deep fried goodness.
I'm hungry, but there's nothing good to eat this time of day at the cafeteria and something smells terrible in my kitchen (so bad my stomach is still slightly nauseated, ugh).
I'd wonder if it was the dishes, but it didn't smell when I left for class at 8 am, but it was there when I got back at 9. I bet one of my roomies cooked something...yuck...don't even want to know...

ew. Why would someone want to cook anything that early? THe only warm thing I can eat in the morning (and only after 9AM) is eggs.
