first there was chaos, then chaos transformend into love and beauty (i think) then (either immediately or after a generation) there sprang uranus and gaea.

Actaully the fractal is chaotic in a mathmatical sense, part of the definition of chaos (in math at least) is that it have the appearance of being orderly at first but then when you look closer its actually random and unpredictable and generally chaotic

well honestly I can see some chaotic elements in it, but the whole thing is encompased in and ordered design... the one thing I've seen that looks really chaotic is the picture of several intersecting Neurons, that looks really chaotic, but if you pull away its actuall one part of a truely ordered picture, so is there anything that is truely chaotic?

lol That means that God is the order that keeps absolute chaos in check, if there were absolute Chaos then there would be nothing, if there were anything that embodies absolute Chaos it would not exist... interesting...

and yet there are chaotic systems in the world, in fact most of the universe operates on them, like the weather for instance is a chaotic system (at least particially) in that it is random and impossible to predict (long term, like several years from now) because you would have to take an infinite number of measurements, which is impossible, and since the system is chaotic it could change at point in time which means that you would have take another set of measurements, ect. ect. But then again I do agree with Acorn's last post that if anything was completely utterly chaotic it would not exist and that God is what keeps absolute chaos in check... hmm... something to think about...

Do you know what I think? I think that the things that people think are utterly random and chaotic are not actually chaotic but only follow a pattern (God) so incredibly complex that people don't understand it and think that they chaotic Now a message to all those who are horrified at my double posting: You may now send me to alaska but I'm bringing sunscreen and a fur parka so there!

after a while, you will burn, not necesarily from heat, but it hurts really bad. have you ever touched dry ice? it's so cold it will burn you.....takes a few days without a coat, but eventually w/your coat you willl be burned, but it isn't too late to save yourself.
God is orderly. Man is chaotic.

You know I think J Phule was saying that samething Alqua, about the vast order, that on the surface only seems chaotic... And second, the weather systems of our vast planet, are not nearly as chaotic as you make them seem to be, everything that happens is the result of something else, like rain in florida, usually it is the result of a band of cooler air flowing south. Or hurricanes, they are just the result (normaly) of the airpressure changing due to heat/cold diffrences off the coast of africa, and as the jet stream pushed the storm cells towards the americas, the warmer water in the atlantic just aids the development. Every item of weather is the result of something else that happens, so the whole weather system is competely orderly, the only thing that makes it seem chaotic, is the intervention of men (or the unsexist term) Humanity. The testing of weapons, the tampering with weather control, and the depletion of ozone layer, all have chaotic effects on the world. So if the world were left alone, the weather systems would stay consistant (mostly)
So yes, Man is the Chaotic element on Earth, we are the only creatures with Free Will, that makes us utterly Chaotic...
