Hey I want to start this thread to post rumors about Hp as well as talk of books, like Hp, LOTR, Eragon, Earthsea and any other good mystic or fantasy book, that way we can find some books that we like easy instead of hunting the library so post away my elvish buddies -Brad of Lothlorien- The Elf of Light  |

Umm I loved Eragon, I got the newer editon for Christmas but I had read it before that...I'm fairly dying of suspence where Eldest is concerd. Oh and did anyone record the entire mini series of earthsea??? I only got to see the first half, I then missed the second and now have no way saite my courosity

[glow=silver,9,300]Wasn't Earthsea a book first? I've never seen or read, but I've heard of it. You should try looking it up on the net. It's probably available on video.
Has anyone here seen The 10th Kingdom? It's a great movie, I think it was originally a series though. It combines a bunch of fairy tales with modern day things. Snow White's grandson is in it, Cinderella, and Evil witch, a werewolf, dwarves, trolls. The trolls are so funny. "I am (whatever his name was), feared in the nine kingdoms!" "I am (whatever) terror of the nine kingdoms!" and finally, "I am Bluebell, afraid in the nine kingdoms!" and they go on about being "three trolls with the courage of one!" lol! It's too funny, you HAVE to see it. It's a great movie. So many quotable lines. I have it, ya'll should rent it, or I'll go to your houses to watch it with you.[/glow]

10th kingdom: The fairy tales are real . . . in 9 kingdoms. When a portal(a magic mirror) accidentally gets activated in the 4th kingdom, it takes a Prince that's been transformed into a dog into New York. This 'new world' that is discovered is called the magicial 10th Kingdom. The 20 something yearold girl who finds the dog and her father travel back into the 9th kingdoms . . . and that's all I can tell you before it gets complicated! It was a mini series. The girl Virginia is the daughter on Father of the Bride.
Anyway it's good!

A few months ago, the 10th kingdom series were broadcasted in the Netherlands, but I found out about it when they were already halfway...  Now I keep hoping I find the DVD's somewhere, or that they broadcast it again... |
