A few weeks ago I seen a movie where guys were eating stroopwaffles. According to them, it was really good. It was "the Best Two Years" don't think any of you have heard of it cause it's one made by the LDS church about four guys on thier mission in one dutch speaking country or another.

stroop is a sort of caramel / syrup kind of stuff.... you have also got appelstroop (with apple flavour) but the stroop in the wafels tastes a lot like caramel....

ok, when we go to the netherlands, we should all buy some. i think that (for here at least) a stroopwaffle is too exotic or whatever to be sold here. I mean we don't even have decent mexican restraunts (anyways that's what i'm told cause I don't like mexican food, especially the spicy stuff.)

hahaha, that's a pity for you , I've got only 4 days of lessons. Then a presentation and two exams and then holiday!!! You don't beat me!!!!

Hmzz. I only have a traineeship from 9 weeks after that. So I've got a summer holiday from only 2 weeks, maximum!!!

With everybody asking about stroopwafels (I love them!!! put them a few seconds in the microwave and they taste like they just made it, lovely!) I want to know what geutaleit is ;D (is that a stupid question?)

i think you mean geutalief, but since you are a newbie, then it's not a stupid question.

it's the other good chocolate, well i should say, the best chocolate in the world. owned and operated by a few of us here at the elven site

It all started way back when *screen wobbles, going into flashback mode* We had a telephone number puzzle, I guessed it stood for "Geutalief", we thought it meant 'giant sweet' (geut = groot, lief=sweet ;D) Sweet can only be chocolate, so Geutalief is now the name of a chocolate bar. A giant one.

i've been in chatrooms before and advertised geutalief, if it was a conversation they would have all stared at me like i was stupid, since we were chatting they all asked what geutalief was.

go to the member group contest. it starts on the first page and continues to at least the fourth or fifth page. Geutalief isn't mentioned until page two or three though
