i'm still wearing them in June/Julyish (at night) and have to put them on again by October. I would love warm weather all the time, maybe not too hot. though where you live is probably about right.
have you ever been to Las Vegas during June?? that is misrably hot

i heard that was the new way to do it, i'm pretty sure i don't have to do it.
In my bio class, we roasted peanuts and walnuts (ok burned to ashes is the better word)
