Yeah, reading in a car is not fun at all. Especially when you're supposed to be driving I finished Joan of Arcadia season 1, and now I have to wait a few days before I get season 2...

It has never really started here.... In Spain, we had sun and over 100 F every day.

Wow...that's hot. I don't think we ever hit 100 F...at least not in my area.
When did you go to Spain? Last I heard you were in Belgium for college...lol.

Thank you very much!!
I had a great day, with family and friends (though my friends visited the day after, since the girl who would be driving was stuck at work so she called if it would be okay if she came the day after). With the money I got, I ordered some books I really really wanted. Did you know the Maximum Ride books? Turns out part 4 is already published, and 5 is due next year.... Me wants!!

They are amazing. I found out there was a 4th a while ago. I was at Borders and I was trying to convince my friend to buy them (she's one that buys books rather than check them out...nothing wrong with that, unless you are poor, lol) and I saw it. It was pretty much about global warming. There's going to be a 5th! YAY!!
Did you just read them? or had you read them before?

I've read them before, the first two ones quite a few times ( I love Iggy, and now he 'sees' colours and when he's snowblinded, yay!) and the fourth one I read in a day I know about the money part. Everytime I'm in a bookstore I see so many books I want, but I have to wait until I've got some extra money before I can buy them. So the money I got at my birthday is pretty much spent on 6 novels. Now I'm counting the days till Saint Nicholas/ Christmas....

rofl. I borrowed the fourth one from my bro and the next night when he came over I gave it back to him. He couldn't believe I had finished it. He knows I read a lot faster than he does, but he was still like "Done already?!?!" I count 101 days (as of Sept 15, I'm not sure if this post is on the 16th there).

Yes, it was the 16th over here.
Last night we got a present from our friends: the game Anti-monopoly. It's a wee bit complicated at first, but once you get the hang of it it's a nice game. Though it seemed to me being a 'competitor' meant being disadvantaged...

I've heard of that game. I've never played it though.
The other day I almost got beat at Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit. I'm getting rusty. It was a lucky guess that won it for me, lol.

We only have the family edition of Trivial Pursuit. We haven'tplayed it in ages, though. But I do remember that the kids questions are incredibly easy, and the adult version incredibly difficult.

Normal trivial pursuit is ridiculously hard. Especially older editions...

We got it when I was still in primary school, so that is about 11 years ago...

I wouldn't know like any of the answers, lol.
Me and my brother found a "How to host a muder mystery" game.
