I speak fluently Dutch and English, my French is okay (reading and listening better that writing and speaking), and my Spanish is starting to go from stupid-level to 'okay'. Next year I want to start with Chinese, so that would be language #5

Wow. I considered taking Japanese, but it doesn't fit into my schedule.
Good job! I know English and Redneck (a very primitive version of English, lol). Ok, so I don't think Redneck is a real language...but it counts, sorta, lol.

I think Redneck could be considered a separate language, lol. When I'm watching american movies, that is one of the few accents I have difficulties with understanding...

My brother has mastered the Redneck language. Phrases such as "Don't worry I writ it down" and "Since you're going there anyways can you stop me off at the store?" are common phrases and he does not see anything wrong with either of them. He suspects there might be since we laugh whenever he says one of them, but he doesn't know what it is, lol.

hahaha, cool. We used to make fun of my sister whenever she would speak in the 'farmer-accent' that is spoken in the countryside surrounding our town. Now she goes to school in another city, so she is taking on a more southern accent. Not nearly as much fun as the farmers... (Their o's are so funny )

lol. I love accents. None of my family really talk with an accent. Well, we talk like everyone else in the area.

Last week, when I was home, I pronounced the word 'garage' in a really Belgian way. My mom started laughing, because I had told her I refused to take over the Belgian accent...

It's freaking retarded. They did it for money. WB gave reasons such as the writer's strike (don't know if you heard about that, but like every tv show had to end their season early) and summer was a better time for a family movie. Other reasons I've heard were "Daniel Radcliff is doing Equus on Broadway; they don't want that sort of publicity mixed with their movie" and "they didn't want to complete with the Twilight movie." It's a load of crap. They wanted more money from a summer release because it was a better time for a family movie to come out. As far as I know, WB didn't even give Equus or Twilight as a reason for switching.
Twilight is the book that's come closest to HP's fame, but it's not quite in league with him yet.
Though, whatever company is doing Twilight bumped up that release date to Nov 21 (former release day of HBP) within 24 hrs after Harry moved.

You've never heard of Twilight? It's the book closest to Harry in popularity (of course it's not even close last I heard, but it's gaining popularity). Hmm...maybe it's not an international best seller...I haven't read it. Apparently it's a vampire love story. The fourth one just came out like a month ago. The author is Stephanie Meyers. Everyone I know that has read it loved it. No one I know that's read it has told me they didn't like it.

I'll look it up on the internet, or see if they have it in the big bookstore around the corner. Uhoh, another book I just have to read...

lol. Although I have finally met two people who have read it and didn't love it...lol. One of my roomies and one of my roomies' fiance. Twilight was written by Stephanie Meyer (I'm not sure if I've mentioned that...).
His Majesty's Dragon is also a good book. I'm not sure who the author is off the top of my head though.
