Pretty close. Of course they had to change some things, but from what I remembered, it is pretty accurate.

I think the only movie I've ever seen that was like exactly like the book was Holes. They only left one scene out of the movie (it was a deleted scene though, lol). And they added a lot of stuff to make the movie. Of course the author was one of the screenwriters....entire convos were word for word from the book, lol.

Holes... Is that about the boy Stanley Yelnats? I think I read that book years ago. Can't remember much of the book, only the name 'cause it was so funny.
